MFreqShifter is an extremely versatile frequency shifter.Unlike pitch-shifters it doesn't keep harmonic relationships and can provide everything from mild stereo expansion to complete sonic destruction. The Pitch Shifter will adjust the pitch of the input signal up or down. Are you out of tune? Do you want to be? Either way, Pitch Shifter uses grain delay to bring the pitch where you want it to be. Or at least somewhere else from where it already is. Pitch Shifter is also available in several bundles from Kilohearts. The interrelationship between pitch and timbre is an important one. If, for example, you’re pitchshifting a signal up by a few semitones, an opposing downwards shift in formants can often counteract the ‘Mickey Mouse’ effect of the former. And vice versa: the further you pitch. Although these plug-ins are usually applied to voice recordings, they can also be used to correct sounds from instruments or other audio signals. Pitch and harmony plug-ins are capable of feats that were unheard of in decades past - some even allow for polyphonic editing, so you can work with individual notes in your audio recordings.

The Pitch Shifter will adjust the pitch of the input signal up or down.

Pitch display

How much to adjust the pitch, in semitones.

Jitter knob

How much randomness to add to the pitch. A high jitter setting can give a unison-like effect. This is only available when Correlate is off.

Grain Size knob

During processing the pitch shifter chops up the audio into small snippets called grains. This setting adjusts the length of the grains, which can influence the sound.

Mix knob

The dry/wet mix of this effect. A lower value will let some of the unmodified signal through.

Correlate

Enables a more advanced algorithm resulting in a more clear effect for many inputs. Be careful though as it might have problems with complex pads and textures.

Settings panel

Whenever you have your mouse cursor over a snapin there is a small arrow at the top right corner (not visible in screenshot). It opens a settings panel where you handle presets.
It also has a 'randomize' button that can be useful. I guess..

Enabled checkbox

The small checkbox to the left of the plugin name is a checkbox that bypasses the effect when disabled.

Resize handle

The bottom right corner of all Kilohearts plugins is a resize handle for scaling the UI to any size. This allows you to get a good view of the controls whatever the screen resolution, and also comes in handy if you need big controls, e.g. when using Pitch Shifter as a real-time effect on a touchscreen monitor during a live set. (This is not available when the snapin is used inside a snapin host.)

Chord mode lets you select up to eight notes on the on-screen keyboard to form a chord. This mode can be used to harmonize or add higher or lower energy to a sound. With eight chord memory slots, you can save and recall chords for live performance.

Build chords for your track in MIDI learn mode, or copy and paste chords between slots and edit them. You can even copy chords to other instances of the plugin.

As well as Normal mode, with its pitchwheel control over the sound’s shift, Pitch Monster can operate using MIDI or Chord mode. Route MIDI to Pitch Monster, and control the amount of shift applied from your DAW or MIDI keyboard. With MIDI note, glide and pitch bend support you can get musical results quickly – imposing new melodies and harmonies on existing material. In MIDI mode the audio only plays when a note is pressed. Formant mode is tailored for vocals but also works with other clean monophonic audio.

If you think of the voice as a series of pulse from your vocal chords through the resonanting chambers of your neck and head then this mode lets you control the speed of the pulses and the size of your neck and head independently.
