It won't match your VST plugin or MIDI instrument if it's not using the General MIDI mapping (which is likely). For some devices, the patch number also selects the drum kit for drum channels. On Windows, to hear these sounds as General MIDI instruments, load a Fruity LSD plugin into the mixer and set it to the same port number as the MIDI. Jan 02, 2020 If you're looking to expand your library of VST instrument (VSTi) plugins, or tweak your mixes with some great effects or MIDI effects VST plugins, you can do it for free. You just need to know where to look. Chordz is a VST plugin that allows you to trigger full chords by playing single notes. Each trigger note is associated with a separate chord. Each chord may consist of any number of notes. Play complicated chord progressions with one finger, with a MIDI keyboard or a drum-pad, or trigger chords from single notes added in your DAW’s piano roll.

NoteMapper is a VST plugin that allows you to map MIDI notes to either other notes, or to Continuous Controller (CC), Channel Aftertouch or Poly Aftertouch messages.
Each incoming note can be mapped to up to three notes/messages, even on different MIDI channels. This allows you to, for example, let one specific note trigger drum sounds in up to three different drum samplers. In addition, you can scale the note velocity, apply randomization to the velocity scaling, and set a note probability for each individual note.

NoteMapper can be used for many purposes, for example for MIDI note conversions between different drumkits, or to use a MIDI keyboard to control synths with CC messages or aftertouch messages. The velocity scaling and randomization allows you to create interesting variations if your destination instrument is set to respond to velocity. Create further randomization with the note probability setting.

Key features:
  • Remap MIDI notes.
  • Map MIDI notes to Continuous Controller (CC), Channel Aftertouch or Poly Aftertouch messages.
  • Each note can be mapped to up to three notes/messages.
  • Can remap notes between all 16 MIDI channels.
  • Filter out unwanted notes.
  • Automatic melodic scale assignment.
  • Adjust the incoming velocity by a specified percent.
  • Randomize the velocity scaling.
  • Set a note probability.

DRAWBARS MAPPER FOR XK-3

If you have ever tried to use your Hammond XK-3 for playing a GSi VB3 VSTi organ, you may have encountered a big problem:

- whilst in the above mentioned plug-in organs, each drawbar responds to a particular CC message number,

- the XK-3 drawbars send out only three CC message numbers: #80 for all the upper drawbars, #81 for all the lower drawbars and #82 for the two pedal drawbars.

'Drawbars Mapper for XK-3' solves this problem and allows you to enjoy your XK-3's manuals and drawbars playing those superb Hammond clones.

Simply open it in your VST host application (we recommend EnergyXT or Hermann Seib's VSTHost), connect the host midi input to the 'Drawbars Mapper for XK-3' 's midi input and its midi output to the midi input of the plug-in organ. The 4 leds indicate which plug-in's drawbars set is moved or if other midi messages (notes, other CCs, etc.) are sent to the plug-in.

CHANNELS MAPPER
Channels Mapper is a midi processor that redirects each input midi channel to every other midi channels.

You can choose both the input midi channel (via the knobs) and the relevant output channel (via the sliders) with the maximum flexibility.

The 'reset' button alternatively set all input channels and output channels to 1 or each of the 16 input channels to the correspondent output channels.

You can save different setting via the file box on the bottom right of the Vst plugin.

CHANNELS MAPPER VER. 1.1

Version 1.1 of Channels Mapper has the same features of the previous version (except for the 'reset' function) but is smaller and has a totally different GUI:

  • the input and output channels are chosen through drop-list labels (instead of knobs and sliders);
  • each input has a led flashing when a midi message on the relevant midi channel is received.
3 WAY CHANNEL CHANGER

3 Way Channel Changer allows to change the transmitting midi channel of your master keyboard on the fly, simply turning the knob (or slider) assigned to the CC message chosen using the 'CC #' knob: when it is in the '0' position the transmitting channel is the first indicated above 'Channel #', when in the middle position ('64') is the second, and when in the end position ('127') is the third; a led show the transmitting channel in use. All the four knobs can be turn from the VST panel or using the parameters assignment in your host.
